MV PANUKE SEA, ex Neftegaz 14
These vessels are multipurpose polar class "Neftegaz" type Anchor Handling Tug & Supply Vessels. Equipped with reinforced hull for polar operations, displace 2723 tons at full load, powered by two diesel engines Sulzer -Zgoda 6ZL 40/48 of 3600hp each.
These multipurpose vessels are even today used for Arctic & Antarctic supply support; Search and Rescue operations in the South Atlantic; for humanitarian actions, scientific research and a variety of other operations.
The fleet formation of «Arktikmorneftegazrazvedka» began in 1979 with creation of underwater-engineering and sea transport expeditionary division. The 'Neftegaz' type was developed in the mid eighties and they were built in Poland from 1982 to 1992. Most vessels are still in operation today and working all over the world.
The PANUKE SEA was last in operation for Siem-Secunda in Canada and put up for sale after being laid up when Siem decided to move laid up tonnage from Norway to Canada. At present she is in reactivation with her new owners and will be for charter by the end of 2017. She will receive upgrades to her IT and communication systems to newest standards and have all of her various systems tested and overhauled. Her Kongsberg DPS11 system will receive newest upgrades and with this completed she will be ready for any mission that requires a reliable and powerful vessel with ample accommodation for 28.
Her 85t Bollard Pull is impressive as well as her station keeping and cargo capacities. She has a powerful towing and anchor handling winch, tugger winch, tow pins, and a modern deck crane. She is equipped for standby/rescue duties for 280 survivors and can be used for any salvage operations even in Polar waters. Various options can be considered, from an additional offshore crane, to ROV operations, Dive Support, or cable laying. All this comes at a very competitive dayrate! Please ask us for a quote!
